Dietrich II, Margrave of Lower Lusatia : ウィキペディア英語版
Theodoric II, Margrave of Lower Lusatia

Theodoric II of Wettin, the first Margrave of Lower Lusatia (German ''Dietrich II, Graf von Wettin, Graf von Eilenburg; Dietrich I, Markgraf der Lausitz'') was born and died on 19 November 1034.
The only son of Dedo of Merseburg and Thietberga of Nordmark,〔(Dietrich II. ), genealogie-mittelalter〕 and thus a grandson of Theodoric I of Wettin, Theodoric II became count of Wettin in 1009 and count of Schwabengau in 1015. In 1017, he inherited Eilenburg from his uncle Frederick, count of Eilenburg, who had died without male issue. Dietrich became the first Margrave of Lusatia in 1031/1032. Shortly afterwards, in 1034, he was killed by his brother-in-law Eckard II, Margrave of Meissen, who became his successor as Margrave of Lusatia. As count of Eilenburg, he was followed by his eldest son Dedi.〔(Dedi II. ), genealogie-mittelalter〕
Dietrich II of Wettin married Mathilda of Meissen, daughter of Eckard I, Margrave of Meissen.〔German wikipedia〕 They had seven children:
* Dedi (ca. 1010–1075) the eldest son, who eventually became his successor as Margrave of Lusatia.
* Frederick (ca. 1020–1084), bishop of Münster.
* Thimo (ca. 1034– ca. 1101), count of Wettin.
* Gero (ca. 1020–1089), count of Brehna.
* Konrad (died 1040), count of Camburg.
* Rikdag
* Ida (Hidda), married to Spitignew II, Duke of Bohemia.
